How to start cooking?

I cannot remember the moment when I started cooking, or rather started eating food I played with. I might guess it was sometime around my 2nd grade, when curiosity took over and I started wondering what would happen if I put these two random ingredients together. Presentation was a key as well. Until that day I remember my mom joking, that I spend as much time preparing food, as I spent time on making it look appetizing.
